09 Feb Annual report from French Economic Committee (CEPS)
The French Economic Committee for Health Products (CEPS) is primarily responsible for setting the prices of medicinal products and medical devices and the reimbursement supported by the health insurance.
The CEPS also contributes, through its proposals, to the orientation of France health economic policy.
Each year the CEPS submits its activity report to the concerned ministerial departments as well as to the Parliament.The report on CEPS 2016 activities has just been published.
It describes the market, the pricing activity and compiles the main activity statistics of the year.

Le Comité économique des produits de santé (CEPS) est principalement chargé de fixer les
prix des médicaments et les tarifs des dispositifs médicaux ainsi que les prestations
prises en charge par l’assurance maladie obligatoire.
Le CEPS contribue également, par ses propositions, à la définition de la politique économique des produits de santé.
Chaque année le CEPS remet son rapport d’activité aux ministères concernés ainsi qu’au Parlement.
Le rapport sur les activités 2016 du CEPS vient de paraître. Il décrit le marché, l’activité de fixation des prix et compile les statistiques d’activité de l’année.
